Group C ( Match Day 3 )
the favorites for group c, italy and denmark played to a goal-less draw. both sides played very cautiously and was more weary of not making mistakes. there were a few chances for both teams but good performance by both goalies ensure that both teams get a point each. denmark dominated much of the game as italy were not living up to its reputation. players like totti, vieri or del peiro weren’t able to perform like they do in their respective clubs.
sweden got off to a stunning start, whipping bulgaria 5-0. didn’t watch the match as I was almost induced to sleep watching the italy denmark bore. always thought that such thrashings won’t happen in such competitions but well, its a first!
will latvia suffer the same? not if miss latvia has any say on that.
oh well, its 2 out of 4 correct bets so far – i bet on a draw game – tally now is winning of $18.
