iTMS hits a 100 million downloads

bq. 100 million songs have been legally downloaded from the iTunes Music Store. A major milestone for online music.
It hit the marked at around 1.30am EDT ( around 1.30pm SG today ) and that 100 millionth customer won a 17″ PowerBook, a 40Gb iPod and 10,000 iTunes Songs gift certificate … plus his own celebrity playlist on the iTMS.
Sweet.
So, when is it our turn?
SoundBuzz and Creative shows that it is possible to group the various music labels together under one roof. So what’s taking Apple so slow to do so?
