Siah suay. No face. Disgusting.
I can think of even more colorful words to describe the performance of the Singapore Lions as they faced Kuwait in an Asian Cup qualifiers match.
They lost 1-3 at the National Stadium. What’s worse, they lost the match to ten men.
The Lions were inept. They lack the fitness, the pace, the fundamentals and no creativeness. They didn’t lose to a stronger team. Kuwait weren’t that great. Ironically, Singapore lies 4 places above Kuwait in the Fifa World Ranking.
We have a new coach, ironically, Raddy Avramovic is the ex coach of Kuwait. So maybe there was a chance that the inside information might help. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem so.
The state of Singapore Soccer is in shambles. The so called professional S-League isn’t showing any result after 8 years. Do we have a national team that’s even 50% of the 1994 Lions team that won the Malaysian Cup? After the 4-0 lost to the Malaysian Under-23, much criticism was thrown at the coach and the team. We have a new coach but the team’s basically still the same.
Should have heed my friend’s advise not to go down to the National Stadium tonight.
