This is the result of a Straits Times Interactive Online Poll about the recent announcement by IDA to develop a framework to combat spam in Singapore.
The result of the poll was astonishing to say the least, especially almost 2/3 of the voters considered spam as useful information. As far as I can remember, I have never receive a piece of spam that is of any use to me.
However, given its small sample size, I will really take the result of this poll with a big pinch of salt.

dont believe poll figures too much, esp when you cannot verify if there is indeed 1,000 individual behind each feedback.
