The International Court of Justice (ICJ) at The Hague in the Netherlands has awarded sovereignty of Pedra Branca island to Singapore, while the sovereignty of Middle Rocks has been awarded to Malaysia. (via CNA)
Yep we get Pedra Branca on a vote of 12 to 4, while Malaysia gets Middle Rocks with a 15 to 1 vote.
Go watch the announcement at CNA. If it was some other form of announcement (like the Youth Olympic Games), you’d probably see the camera focusing on the Singaporean team jumping for joy and high fiving each other.
